Another innovation, the Variomat system for Columbus deck ovens, uses individual heating systems for separate deck groups, allowing one group to be turned off for energy conservation. The integrated MASTER energy saver for all Infra and Piccolo ovens, a standard feature of all MASTER computer controls, allows a baker to determine and set the maximum power consumption of the oven. The system is recommended wherever the power supply is barely sufficient.
