Europain readies events to spotlight top baker skills

Home to the Coupe du Monde de La Boulangerie (World Cup of Baking), Eruopain 2008 will feature a number of other events, including a frozen desserts competition, a sugar crafts competition and chocolate demonstrations. Europain organizers expect more than 80,000 visitors; more than 50 percent of whom come from the bakery, pastry and confectionery trades. The other half of attendees are involved with restaurants, distribution, industrial baking and training.
