Interstate Baking Co. moves headquarters to Dallas

Interstate Bakeries Corp. (IBC), baker of Twinkies and Wonder bread, is moving its corporate headquarters from Kansas City to Dallas. The move brings the company many benefits, including cost savings and access to more senior-level executives with experience in marketing packaged products to consumers. In the move, about 20 positions, including senior executives and executive assistants, will leave Kansas City, where the company was founded in 1930.
