King’s Hawaiian pursues sustainability mission with eco-friendly solutions

King’s Hawaiian, Torrance, Calif., has launched its “Green Vision” initiative, an operational campaign to enhance its global sustainability through company-wide efforts. The company has developed measures, from maintenance to production line procedures, to impact the environment through financial alternatives and eco-friendly solutions. In addition, the campaign will include a consumer awareness element to promote sustainable lifestyles with its customer base. For instance, packaging and point-of-sale material will include Green Vision logos and text designed to direct consumers to the company’s website, where they will find tips on recycling and resources to enhance sustainability in daily ...
